Refund & Cancellation Policy

A novelty digital good. Beautiful, instant, and final.

Last updated: 24 May 2026. This policy explains when refunds are and aren’t available, how to cancel a subscription, and what happens if a renewal payment fails.

1 The headline

Paradisium Estates deeds are novelty digital goods delivered immediately on purchase. Because we deliver in full at the moment of payment and cannot “take back” a downloaded or emailed deed, all sales are final and we do not issue refunds for changes of heart, buyer’s remorse, unused renewal periods, or because a recipient didn’t enjoy the joke.

By starting a checkout you confirm you understand that the deed is a novelty product, that it is delivered instantly, and that you waive any right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to remote purchases (where local law allows you to waive it — for example, EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m)).

2 What you’re buying

Every deed is sold as a one-year subscription. Your first payment covers the first solar year of validity. At the end of each year your subscription automatically renews at $1.00 USD per year on the payment method you provided at checkout. Renewals continue indefinitely until you cancel.

3 Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from the subscription manager linked in your purchase confirmation email and on the success page. It’s powered by Stripe’s Customer Portal — one click, no forms, no “please reconsider” pages.

When you cancel:

4 Failed renewals

If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, bank refusal), Stripe will retry per its standard schedule (usually three attempts over a week) and email you each time. If all retries fail, your subscription — and therefore your deed’s validity — will lapse. You can resubscribe later if you wish.

5 One-time (non-renewing) purchases

If you chose the one-time purchase option at checkout, you paid a single payment with no auto-renewal. Your deed is valid for one solar year from the purchase date and quietly lapses after that. There is nothing to cancel and no further charges will occur.

6 Community manager fee

The $3.00 USD community-manager fee is a one-time, non-refundable payment made at the moment of founding the community. It does not recur with annual renewals and is not refundable if you later abandon the community, close it, or remove all members.

7 Exceptional refunds

We will consider a refund in the following limited circumstances, on a case-by-case basis:

8 How to request a refund

Write to info@paradisium.ai from the email address you used at checkout. Include: the deed number (printed on the certificate and in your confirmation email), the date of purchase, and a short description of why you’re asking. We aim to reply within five working days. Approved refunds are issued via Stripe to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.

9 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first, we may revoke the novelty deed associated with that charge and decline future purchases from your account. Please contact us first — we’re reasonable and almost certainly faster than your bank’s dispute process.
